Drought

Definition

A drought is a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, resulting in a shortage of water supply. It can lead to agricultural problems, water scarcity, and environmental issues.

Analogy

Imagine a swimming pool that hasn't been filled with water for weeks. The pool becomes dry and empty, just like the land during a drought. Without rain, the ground becomes parched and cracked.
