Diversity
Definition
Diversity refers to the understanding that each individual is unique, recognizing our individual differences along dimensions such as race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities etc.
Analogy
Consider diversity like a box of assorted chocolates. Each piece may be different - some might be dark chocolate, others milk chocolate; some might have nuts while others have caramel - but all together they make up one delicious box!

Ethnicity: A category of people who identify with each other, usually on the basis of presumed similarities such as common language, ancestry, history, society, culture or nation.
