Caste System

Definition

The caste system is a social hierarchy that divides people into distinct groups based on their birth, occupation, and social status in certain societies. It determines one's place in society and limits social mobility.

Analogy

Imagine a giant puzzle with different pieces representing different social groups. Each piece fits into a specific place in the puzzle based on its shape and size. Similarly, individuals are assigned to specific castes based on their birth and have limited opportunities to move between them.
