Proportional Voting

Definition

This is a type of voting system where parties gain seats in proportion to the number of votes cast for them.

Analogy

Imagine you're dividing pizza slices at a party based on how much each person contributed to buying it. If someone paid for half of it, they get half of the pizza. That's proportional representation!
