To limit means to restrict or put boundaries on something. When it comes to limiting judiciary power, it refers to actions taken by other branches (such as Congress or the President) to reduce or restrain certain aspects of judicial authority.
Think about having a parent who sets rules in your house. These rules help define what you can or cannot do within certain limits set by them.
Judicial Restraint: The philosophy of judges interpreting the Constitution narrowly and deferring to the decisions made by elected officials.
Congressional Oversight: Congress's ability to oversee and limit the actions of other branches, including the judiciary.
Impeachment: The process by which an official, such as a President or federal judge, can be removed from office for misconduct.
