Korean War

Definition

The Korean War was a conflict that took place from 1950 to 1953 between North Korea (supported by China and the Soviet Union) and South Korea (supported by the United Nations, primarily led by the United States). It resulted in a stalemate and division of Korea into two separate countries.

Analogy

Picture a fierce dodgeball game between two teams. Each team has their own territory, but there's an invisible line dividing them. The game gets so intense that it goes on for years without any clear winner.
