Diversity and Policy

Definition

Diversity and policy refers to the consideration of different cultural, ethnic, racial, gender, or other group perspectives in the creation and implementation of policies.

Analogy

Think of diversity and policy like a potluck dinner. Everyone brings a dish from their own culture or preference. The more diverse the dishes are, the richer the experience for everyone at the table. Similarly, when policies consider diverse perspectives, they become more inclusive and effective.
