Bundesländer are the individual states or regions in Germany. Germany is a federal republic consisting of 16 Bundesländer, each with its own government and some degree of autonomy in decision-making.
Imagine Germany as a big puzzle made up of smaller puzzle pieces called Bundesländer. Just like how each puzzle piece has its unique shape and fits together to form the whole picture, each Bundesland has its own characteristics and contributes to the overall identity of Germany.
Landeshauptstadt (State capital): This term refers to the capital city of each Bundesland, where the state government is located.
Bildungssystem (Education system): This term encompasses all aspects related to education within a particular country or region, including schools, curricula, policies, etc.
Föderalismus (Federalism): This term describes a political system where power is divided between a central authority (federal government) and regional authorities (Bundesländer), allowing for some level of self-governance at both levels.
