Western and Central Europe are geographical regions on the European continent. Western Europe typically includes countries like France, Germany, UK etc., while Central Europe includes countries such as Poland, Hungary etc.

Analogy

If you think about your school campus as Europe; classrooms at one end could represent Western Europe while those in middle could represent Central Europe. Just like each classroom has its unique culture & rules; so do these regions have their unique cultures and political systems.
