Definition
North Africa is a region encompassing the northern portion of the African continent. It includes countries like Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. This region played significant roles during both World Wars due to its strategic location.

Imagine North Africa as an important crossroad on your way to school where multiple paths intersect - you can't get to your destination without passing through it.
