A microscope is an instrument used for viewing objects that are too small to be seen by naked eyes. It magnifies these objects so we can study their details closely.
A microscope is like a super-powered magnifying glass. Just as a detective uses a magnifying glass to see tiny clues more clearly, scientists use microscopes to examine cells, bacteria, and other small structures that can't be seen with the naked eye.
Cell: This is the basic structural and functional unit of all living organisms which can only be seen under a microscope.
Microbiology: This is the study of microscopic organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, archaea, fungi and protozoa.
Lens: In microscopy context, this refers to the curved piece of glass or other transparent substance in a microscope that bends light rays to magnify objects.
