Immigrants are individuals who move from one country to another with the intention of settling permanently in the new country. They leave their home country and come to a foreign country seeking better opportunities, such as employment or education.
Think of immigrants as people who change schools because they want a fresh start and better opportunities. Just like students moving to a new school, immigrants move to a different country in search of a better life.
Assimilation: Assimilation refers to the process by which immigrants adopt the customs, language, and culture of their new host country.
Push Factors: Push factors are circumstances or conditions that force individuals or groups to leave their home countries and migrate elsewhere.
Pull Factors: Pull factors are circumstances or conditions that attract individuals or groups to move into a new country.
