Foreign policy is a government's strategy in dealing with other nations. It includes diplomacy, international relations, national security, economic trade etc.
Think of foreign policy as the rules and strategies you use when playing a board game with others. You might form alliances (diplomacy), protect your assets (national security), or trade resources (economic trade).
Diplomacy: The practice of conducting negotiations between representatives of states or groups. It involves discussions and agreements on matters like peace treaties, trade deals etc.
National Security: Refers to measures taken by a state to ensure its survival against any form of aggression or harm from external forces.
Economic Sanctions: These are commercial and financial penalties applied by one or more countries against another country, individual, or entity as part of their foreign policy.
