The European Theatre refers to a large area where significant military operations took place during World War II across Europe against Nazi Germany and its allies.

Analogy

Imagine if Europe during WWII was like a giant movie set with different scenes (battles) happening at various locations (countries). Each scene contributes to overall plot (outcome) but has its own unique challenges and characters (military strategies & leaders).
