Containerization Method

Definition

This is a system of intermodal freight transport using standardized shipping containers that can be loaded and unloaded, stacked, transported efficiently over long distances. It revolutionized trade in the 20th century.

Analogy

Think of containerization method as a Lego set. Each block (or container) is designed to fit perfectly with others, making it easy to build complex structures (or ship large amounts of goods). Just like how you can dismantle and reassemble your Lego creations, containers can be loaded, unloaded, and reused for different shipments.
