Definition

Mutualism is a type of symbiotic relationship between two different species where both organisms benefit from each other's presence. They rely on each other for resources like food, shelter, protection, or reproduction.

Analogy

Think of mutualism as a teamwork situation where two friends help each other out. For example, one friend may provide transportation while the other helps with homework. Both friends benefit from this arrangement.
