Definition

Biocentric refers to an ethical perspective that recognizes the inherent value of all living organisms, regardless of their usefulness to humans.

Analogy

Think of a diverse garden with various plants, flowers, insects, birds, and animals. Each element contributes to the overall beauty and balance of the garden. Similarly, biocentrism acknowledges that every living organism has its own unique value in maintaining ecological harmony.
