Server Farms

Definition

Server farms are large collections of interconnected servers housed in dedicated facilities designed for hosting websites, applications, or providing other computing services.

Analogy

Imagine server farms as massive apartment buildings filled with thousands of rooms (servers). Each room is equipped with all the necessary resources to host websites or run applications. Just like people live in apartment buildings, websites and applications "live" in server farms.
