Definition

The mode function is a statistical measure that identifies the most frequently occurring value in a dataset.

Analogy

Think of the mode function as finding the most popular item in a group. Just like how you can determine the most popular flavor of ice cream by counting which one appears the most, the mode function helps us find the value that occurs most often in a set of data.
