Definition

Military forces are organized groups within a nation-state that are trained, equipped, and authorized by its government for defense purposes. They protect national security interests both domestically and internationally.

Analogy

Think of military forces as an army protecting their home base. Just like how an army defends their territory from external threats, military forces safeguard a country and its citizens from potential dangers.
