Definition

Class struggle refers to the conflict between different social classes in society, particularly between the working class (proletariat) and owning class (bourgeoisie), over resources, wealth distribution, and power.

Analogy

Picture a game of tug-of-war where two teams are pulling on opposite ends of a rope. One team represents the working class while the other represents the owning class. The struggle arises from their opposing interests in gaining control over limited resources.
