Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
Definition
The Chinese Communist Party is the ruling political party in China. It has a monopoly on political power and controls all aspects of governance in China.
Analogy
Think of the CCP as the captain of a ship called "China." The captain makes all the decisions about where the ship goes, who gets on board, and how things are run.
