symmetry
Think of symmetry as a perfectly mirrored image, where if you were to draw a line down the middle, both sides would be identical.
不对称 (bù duìchèn): asymmetry - the absence of symmetry, where elements on one side are different from the other.
轴对称 (zhóu duìchèn): axial symmetry - a type of symmetry where an object can be divided into two equal halves along an axis.
辐射对称 (fúshè duìchèn): radial symmetry - a type of symmetry where elements radiate outward from a central point, like the petals of a flower.
