Definition
This is a unit of measurement for time. In the context of AP Chemistry, it often refers to the duration during which a chemical reaction or process takes place.
Analogy
Think of time in seconds like the timer on your microwave. When you heat up your leftovers, you set a specific amount of time (in seconds or minutes) for the food to be heated. Similarly, in chemistry, we measure how long reactions take in units of time like seconds.
