PEreactants refers to the potential energy of reactants in a chemical reaction. It's essentially the stored energy that reactants have before they undergo a reaction.
Think about it like this - you're at the top of a roller coaster with your potential energy at its maximum. This is similar to PEreactants - they are ready for action but haven't started reacting yet!
Activation Energy: The minimum amount of energy required to start a chemical reaction.
Reactant: A substance that takes part in and undergoes change during a reaction.
Chemical Potential Energy: The energy stored in chemicals that can be released during a chemical reaction.
