Copper is a chemical element with the symbol Cu (from Latin: cuprum) and atomic number 29. It is a soft, malleable, and ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity.
Imagine copper as the "conductor" of an orchestra (in this case electricity). Just as a conductor ensures music flows smoothly through each instrument, copper efficiently directs electric current throughout an electronic device without losing much energy along the way.
Conductivity: The measure of a material's ability to conduct electricity.
Malleability: The property of a metal that allows it to be deformed under compression while maintaining its durability.
Ductility: The physical property of being able to be drawn out into thin wires or threads without breaking.
