This term refers to when all substances present at the start of a chemical reaction are reactants, meaning no products have been formed yet.
Imagine starting out with an uncooked pizza. At this point, all you have are ingredients (reactants) - cheese, sauce, dough etc., and no cooked pizza (product) has been made yet.
Reactant Concentration: The amount of each reactant present at any given moment during a chemical reaction.
Stoichiometry: The calculation involving relationships between quantities and types of reactants and products in chemical reactions based on balanced equations.
Chemical Equilibrium: A state where both reactants and products are present in concentrations which have no further tendency to change with time.
