Inverse Functions

Definition

Inverse functions are two functions that "undo" each other. When you apply one function and then the inverse function, you get back to where you started.

Analogy

Think of inverse functions like a pair of special glasses. One function puts on the glasses, distorting your vision, and the inverse function takes off the glasses, restoring your original vision.
