Implicit functions are equations where the dependent variable is not explicitly expressed in terms of the independent variable(s). They often involve multiple variables and can be represented by curves or surfaces.
Explicit Functions: Equations where the dependent variable is directly expressed in terms of the independent variable(s).
Tangent Line: A line that touches a curve at only one point and has the same slope as that point on the curve.
Parametric Equations: A way to represent curves using multiple equations with different parameters for each variable.
