Functions are mathematical relationships that assign a unique output value to each input value. They can be represented by equations, graphs, or tables.
Think of functions as recipes. Just like a recipe takes in ingredients and produces a delicious dish, a function takes in inputs and produces an output. Each ingredient/input has its own specific role in the recipe/function.

Range: The set of all possible output values for a function.
Composite Function: A combination of two or more functions where the output of one function becomes the input of another function.
