A water molecule is a chemical compound made up of two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom. It's the most abundant molecule on Earth's surface.
Think of a water molecule like a Mickey Mouse head. The oxygen atom is Mickey's face, and the two hydrogen atoms are his ears!
Hydrogen Bond: This is a weak bond between two molecules resulting from an electrostatic attraction between a proton in one molecule and an electronegative atom in the other.
Covalent Bond: This is a strong bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms.
Molecule: This is the smallest particle in a chemical element or compound that has the chemical properties of that element or compound.
