Tissues are groups of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function in an organism.
Think about a football team. Each player (cell) has their own role, but they all work together to achieve one goal - winning the game. Similarly, different cells in a tissue work together to perform a specific function.
Organ: An organ is made up of different types of tissues working together to perform complex functions.
Epithelial Tissue: This type of tissue covers body surfaces and lines cavities and organs. It acts as a barrier against harmful substances and pathogens.
Connective Tissue: This type supports, binds or separates other tissues or organs, often with collagen or other fibers. Examples include bone, cartilage and fat tissues.
