Optimal Temperature Range

Definition

The optimal temperature range is the range of temperatures at which a biological system, such as an enzyme or organism, functions best.

Analogy

Think of the optimal temperature range like your comfort zone when setting the thermostat in your house. If it's too cold or too hot, you won't be able to function properly. But if it's within your comfort zone (optimal temperature), you can go about your daily activities with ease.
