Distribution refers to how individuals within a population are spaced within their region. This could be random, uniform/regularly spaced, or clumped/aggregated distribution based on resource availability and interactions between organisms.
Consider seats in movie theater. If everyone chooses their seat randomly without considering others' choices - it's random distribution. If everyone sits exactly two seats apart from each other - it's uniform distribution. And if all friends sit together forming small groups scattered around - it's clumped distribution!
Random Distribution: Organisms arranged in no particular pattern.
Uniform Distribution: Organisms evenly spaced.
Clumped Distribution: Organisms grouped together, most common type of distribution in nature.
