Learn about all types of solids you need to know. We'll cover the crystal lattice structure of ionic solids and how lattice energy is affected by the size and charge of the ions through Coulomb's Law. We'll also cover metallic solids and the electron sea model, as well as interstitial and substitutional alloys. At the end, we'll briefly go over molecular and network covalent compounds and compare the properties of all types of solids.
