Sea voyages refer to long journeys undertaken on sea for exploration, trade, warfare, migration etc., often over great distances.
Imagine going on a road trip but instead of highways and rest stops you have oceans and ports. The journey might be longer and more challenging but it opens up new routes for exploration just like sea voyages did during historical times.
Age of Exploration: This was a period from the early 15th century that saw extensive overseas exploration emerge as a powerful factor in European culture and globalization.
Navigation Acts: These were laws passed by British Parliament that imposed restrictions on colonial trade to bolster British economy.
Transatlantic Slave Trade: It was part of the triangular trade where millions of people from Africa were shipped to the New World as part of Atlantic slave trade.
