Public works refer to projects such as roads, bridges, or schools, that are built and maintained by the government for public use.
Think of public works like the apps on your smartphone. Just as these apps (like Maps, Weather, etc.) are designed and updated by the company for all users to benefit from, public works are constructed and maintained by the government for everyone's use.
Infrastructure: The basic physical structures and facilities needed for a society or enterprise to function effectively.
Urbanization: The process through which cities grow, and higher percentages of population live in cities rather than rural areas.
Civic Responsibility: The responsibilities of a citizen towards their community including participation in public affairs and maintenance of public goods.
