Polytheism is the belief in or worship of more than one god.
Think of polytheism like a sports team. Just as a team has multiple players, each with their own unique skills and roles, polytheistic religions have multiple gods, each with their own domains and responsibilities.
Monotheism: The belief in the existence of only one god that created the world, is all-powerful and intervenes in the world.
Pantheon: All the gods of a people or religion collectively.
Paganism: A term used to describe religious traditions that are characterized by belief in multiple gods and/or goddesses.
