Developmental psychology can be compared to watching a movie from start to finish. Just as you see characters grow, change, face challenges, learn new skills throughout the movie (from beginning till end), developmental psychologists study these changes throughout an individual's lifespan.
Child Psychology: The study of subconscious and conscious childhood development.
Adolescent Psychology: The study focusing on issues that affect adolescents (teens) in order to improve their lives psychologically.
Gerontology: The comprehensive study of aging and older adults.
