Push factors are conditions that drive people to leave their homes and migrate to another region. These can include things like poverty, war, or severe environmental conditions.
Imagine you're at a party where the music is too loud, the room is too hot, and there's no food left. These uncomfortable conditions (the loud music, heat, lack of food) would "push" you to leave the party and go somewhere more comfortable. That's how push factors work in migration.
Pull Factors: These are positive conditions or attractions that draw people into a new location. They could be better job opportunities, political stability or favorable climate.
Internal Migration: This refers to moving within a state, country or region. It's like moving from your bedroom to the living room in your house.
External Migration: This involves moving from one country to another. Think of it as moving out of your house entirely and going to live in a different one on another street.
