The Organic Theory, also known as the Organic State Theory, is a geopolitical concept that views a state or nation as an organic entity which grows and evolves, similar to a living organism. It suggests that states need space (territory) to grow and survive.
Think of the Organic Theory like a plant. Just like how plants need soil to grow and expand their roots, nations too need territory for their growth and survival. If they don't get enough space, just like a plant in a small pot, they may not thrive.
Geopolitics: This refers to the study of the effects of geography on politics and international relations. It's like understanding why your house's layout affects where you place your furniture.
Political Geography: This is the study of how political phenomena are affected by geographical factors. Imagine if your school was divided into sections based on students' interests; this would be similar to political geography dividing regions based on political ideologies.
Territoriality: This refers to the connection of people, their culture, and economic systems to land. It's akin to having your own bedroom in your house - it's your personal space where you express yourself.
