A custom is a frequent repetition of an act by a group performed to the extent that it becomes characteristic of the group.
Consider customs as team uniforms. Just like how all members of a sports team wear the same uniform to show they're part of the same group, people in certain groups follow specific customs that identify them as part of that group.
Tradition: Tradition is a long-established custom or belief passed on from generation to generation.
Culture: Culture encompasses beliefs, social forms and material traits constituting a society's distinct tradition.
Norms: Norms are shared expectations and rules that guide behavior within social groups.
