Cultural influence refers to the way one culture or group's traditions, norms, and values affect another. This can happen through direct interaction or indirectly through media, trade, migration etc.
Think of cultural influence like a popular trend on social media. Just as a viral dance move can spread from one user to millions worldwide, aspects of a culture can spread and be adopted by other cultures.
Cultural Diffusion: The process by which cultural elements are transferred from one society to another.
Cultural Imperialism: The practice of promoting the culture/language of one nation in another. It is usually the case that the former is a large, economically or militarily powerful nation and the latter is a smaller, less influential nation.
Globalization: The process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale. This often leads to increased cultural exchange.
