Definition

In political terms, intensity refers to how strongly people feel about certain issues or candidates.

Related terms

Political Apathy: This is when individuals lack interest in or concern for political matters – it’s like having your stereo’s volume turned all the way down.

Polarization: This refers to when public opinion divides and goes towards extreme ends of the spectrum. Imagine turning up the bass and treble on your stereo to maximum while minimizing everything else.

Passionate Voting: This is when voters cast their ballots based on strong emotions towards an issue or candidate - akin to blasting your favorite song at full volume because you love it so much!
