The United States Military refers to the combined forces of the United States' Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. It's responsible for protecting the country's interests at home and abroad.
Think of the US Military as your body’s immune system. Just like how different cells (forces) work together to protect your body (country) from diseases (threats), the various branches of military collaborate to ensure national security.
Pentagon: The headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense located in Arlington County, Virginia. It's like the brain controlling all actions of immune system.
Veterans Day: A public holiday held on November 11th every year to honor military veterans who served in United States Armed Forces.
Selective Service System: An independent agency of U.S government that maintains information on those potentially subject to military conscription i.e., draft. It's like a reserve pool where new cells can be produced when needed.
