Food sources refer to the various natural resources from which humans obtain their food including plants (fruits, vegetables), animals (meat), fish (seafood), grains (rice), etc.
Food sources are like a buffet table at a party. Just as you have a variety of options to choose from at a buffet, food sources provide us with a diverse range of options to meet our nutritional needs.
Agriculture: The practice of cultivating plants and rearing animals for food, fiber, medicinal plants, and other products used by humans.
Aquaculture: The farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, shellfish, and seaweed in controlled environments for human consumption.
Sustainable Food Systems: Food systems that are environmentally friendly, socially responsible, economically viable, and ensure long-term availability of nutritious food for all.
