A method used to analyze the motion of objects by examining their position, velocity, and acceleration as functions of time.
Imagine watching a soccer game. You can analyze the players' positions on the field, their velocities as they move around, and their accelerations when they change direction or speed up.
Displacement: The change in position of an object from its initial point to its final point.
Speed: The magnitude of velocity without regard to direction.
Deceleration: Negative acceleration that causes an object to slow down.
