A genome is the complete set of DNA, including all of its genes, in an organism. It provides the full genetic blueprint that determines the structure and function of an organism.
Gene: A segment of DNA that encodes functional products, usually proteins.
Chromosome: A long, continuous thread of DNA that contains many genes and is found in the nucleus of cells.
DNA Replication: The process by which a double-stranded DNA molecule is copied to produce two identical DNA molecules
